Mission Statement

 

The mission of the Horseshoe Bend School Library is to ensure that students, staff, and the community have access to media centers, enabling them to acquire the necessary skills to utilize information, ideas, and technology that meet their educational, recreational, and professional needs. The function of the library media program is to ensure the media center is flexible and that students and teachers have open access to the library at all times during the day. The library media center is curriculum-oriented, resource-based, and integrated at all levels and subject matter areas of education. The library media center offers a diverse range of materials, including print and non-print resources, CD-ROM software, videos, kits, books, and equipment.
