Horseshoe Bend School was established in 1992 following the closure of Daviston, Hackneyville, and New Site. Our strength as a school today stems from the rich traditions of these institutions. Horseshoe Bend serves students in grades Pre-K through 12, with approximately 800 enrolled, and holds a 2A classification from the Alabama High School Athletics Association. The school mascot is the Generals, and the colors are red, white, and Columbia blue. Mr. Brett Waites is the current principal, with Mrs. Lane Sanders and Mr. Austin Teel serving as assistant principals.
